Meet and Greet Appointment
The Meet and Greet appointment is a free, no obligation appointment
where several things will take place:

*  You will have opportunity to meet me and see how I interact with your pet(s).

*  I will get to meet you and your pets and see if we are compatible. 

*  We will discuss your pet in depth and their particular needs.

*  We will discuss dates, times, services, fees and care.

*  I will take your dog for a walk alone to see if there are any questions or concerns.
If your dog will be staying with us, we will see if s/he is compatible with our dogs.

*  An estimate will be drafted for services that can be left for you to consider or agreed upon,
in which contracts and pet information would then be gathered.

*  Pets information should be readily available for paperwork
(vet and phone number, ID chip number, medication information, etc.).

*  A spare key will need to be provided and a 50% deposit is required upon services accepted.


Dogs must walk well on a leash without excessive pulling. They should not be aggressive
towards walker, people, children, bikes, skateboards or other dogs.
Ocean City is crowded in the summer with all kinds of people and activity
and dog must be easy to control for walker.



Care and Criteria for In-My-Home Pet Care

 Compatibility Visiting dog must be compatible with our dogs and have a gentle, submissive nature with men, women, young people (18 and up) and other dogs. Health Assurance Dogs in our care need to be reasonably healthy (NO communicable diseases), house-trained, are not excessive barkers and we suggest they be treated with flea preventative (Advantage, Revolution etc.) and HeartGuard for heartworm preventative.
What to expect at our home. Dogs are territorial animals so understand that our dogs that live with us are protective of their territory, though not aggressive. Please expect our dogs to check out yours upon arrival. We are an easy-going family who love animals. There are not too many rules concerning our pets. Our dogs are not crate-trained or kept in crates, however if this is what your dog is familiar and comfortable with, we have no problem with crating your dog. We can provide a crate here at our home. Before we agree to sitting your dog in our home, we'd like to have them spend the night on a trial basis (free) to make sure everyone is happy and compatible before you leave for vacation or business. We only take one to two visiting dogs at a time so space is limited. Service fees  Fees for in-home care are $30. per day ($10. for additional dog.)
